1. Acceptance of Terms

By enrolling in or participating in any program, course, or service offered by Exceptional Tech Academy (“the Academy”), you agree to comply with and be bound by these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, you may not use our services.

2. Enrollment & Admission

• Enrollment is confirmed only upon receipt of completed registration forms and payment (full or deposit as applicable).

• The Academy reserves the right to decline admission for any reason deemed necessary.

• Learners are responsible for ensuring that the information provided during registration is accurate and complete.

3. Fees & Payment

• All course fees must be paid according to the payment schedule provided.

• Fees are non-refundable except where the Academy cancels a course.

• Payment plans, if offered, must be strictly adhered to. Late or missed payments may result in suspension from the program.

• Course materials, certification fees, or additional resources may be charged separately and will be communicated beforehand.

4. Cancellations, Refunds & Transfers

• Learner cancellations: Refunds are not guaranteed. Requests must be submitted in writing at least 14 days before the course start date. An administration fee may apply.

• Academy cancellations: If a course is cancelled by the Academy, learners will be offered an alternative date or a full refund.

• Transfers to a later course intake may be considered on a case-by-case basis.

5. Attendance & Conduct

• Learners are expected to attend all scheduled classes, training sessions, and assessments.

• The Academy reserves the right to dismiss learners for misconduct, including but not limited to disruptive behaviour, harassment, dishonesty, or breach of these Terms.

• No refund will be issued in cases of dismissal due to misconduct.

6. Certification & Assessment

• Certificates will be issued only upon successful completion of all program requirements, including assessments, attendance, and project work (where applicable).

• The Academy does not guarantee employment or business success upon completion of any course.

7. Intellectual Property

• All course materials, content, and resources provided remain the intellectual property of the Academy.

• Learners may not copy, reproduce, distribute, or use materials for commercial purposes without written consent.

8. Liability & Indemnity

• The Academy is not liable for any loss, damage, or injury incurred during participation in its programs.

• Learners assume full responsibility for their personal belongings, safety, and conduct.

• The Academy provides training for educational purposes only and does not accept liability for outcomes beyond its control.

9. Data Protection & Privacy

• The Academy may collect and store personal information for administrative, communication, and certification purposes.

• By enrolling, learners consent to their information being used in compliance with South Africa’s POPIA (Protection of Personal Information Act).

• Information will not be shared with third parties without consent unless required by law.

10. Amendments

• The Academy reserves the right to amend these Terms and Conditions at any time.

• Learners will be notified of any material changes, and continued participation will constitute acceptance of the revised Terms.

11. Governing Law

These Terms and Conditions shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the Republic of South Africa.
